QED Waste Management Solutions can provide a range of waste compactors, tailored to meet the individual requirements of cutomers. The range is wide and varied, with the model and type being recommended only after consultation with the waste producer.
They are manufactured to a high engineering standard and fall into two categories, i.e. Static and Portable, being CE Certified and carrying a 12 month manufacturers warranty.
The main advantages include:
• a reduction in costs when used in conjunction with the 35 cu.yd container
• improvement in housekeeping conditions
• prevent fire risk, vermin infestation and wind scatter
• leakproof discharge doors on the portable units
• interlocked safety cage which prevents access during operation
• safety cages manufactured from galvenised mesh, painted in yellow to discourage rusting
• Sheet metal painted with 2 coats of zinc phosphate primer and 3 coats of gloss paint to customers preference.
Custom designed feed hoppers to accept manual, mechanical or automatic loading. Dock level loading enables waste to be fed manually or automatically into the hopper. Through wall chutes from more than one level feeding directly into an enclosed feed hopper.
